1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sitecode website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Description of Services
Sitecode provides website design, development, and launch services. We create custom-designed websites based on the information you provide during the onboarding process. Our standard package includes domain registration, hosting, SSL certificate, and business email setup.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payments and Refunds
Fees for our Services are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If work has not yet commenced, a full refund may be issued. Once design or development work has begun, refunds may be partial or unavailable depending on progress.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you own the final website design and content we create specifically for you. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, templates, frameworks, and proprietary code. You grant us a limited license to use your logos, images, and content solely for the purpose of delivering your project.
6. User Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content you provide to us. You represent that you have all necessary rights to such content and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sitecode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in question.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
